I'm a wife, mom of 4, and resident of Brentwood, Tennessee. I love finding fun new things for my family to see and do in Brentwood and the Nashville area!

I checked out the Grand Opening of Gordon Food Service Marketplace, a new restaurant supply store across from Costco in Cool Springs. GFS Marketplace sells restaurant quality foods, case quantities, janitorial supplies and restaurant equipment...all without a membership fee.

I discovered an out-of-the-way gas station and grocery off Wilson Pike. The Jamison Market and Deli is a quaint little store between Brentwood and Franklin, just behind McKay's Mill subdivision.

Interested in drinking local milk? I drove out to Williamson County's Hatcher Family Dairy to investigate. Here's my review of the local dairy store, its products, and other resources for local milk including Purity, Blue Bell, and Rock Springs Farm from the Produce Place.

Tucked behind a Native American village mound lies one of Brentwood's oldest structures. The Boiling Springs Academy on Moores Lane East was donated by the Primm family when the Montclair subdivision was built. Now restored, this 1833 schoolhouse is the centerpiece of Primm Park (also the entrance to Brentwood's bikeway).

Take a look at this historic Brentwood outhouse! Boiling Springs Academy is an 1807 schoolhouse at Primm Park on Moore's Lane. Visiting schoolchildren take field trips there each fall. See how the clever restoration team incorporated a working bathroom at this historic site!

My family took a weekend trip to Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green. Only an hour north of Brentwood, Beech Bend is Nashville's closest amusement park. We loved its old-fashioned atmosphere and slow pace. Older kids may try the wooden rollercoaster and water park slides.

Looking for local food resources in Williamson County? Check out the Factory at Franklin! Its Saturday Farmer's Market supports local and organic agriculture. What's even cooler? Saffire, the fine dining restaurant at the Factory, now offers a local food menu complete with regional produce and wines!

The 2008 Entertainment Books are out...and area students are selling them all over Brentwood! Not sure if the 2008 Entertainment Book is a good buy? I've listed all the Brentwood and Cool Springs restaurant coupons, as well as those from businesses and for fun things to do in Brentwood.

I was surprised to see a closeup of Scott Hamilton and his wife Tracie during the Titans preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. When I investigated, I learned that Scott Hamilton and his family lives right here in Williamson County!

Find out how you can get free admission to the Hermitage, Mansker's Station, and a handful of other Tennessee museums. It's all part of the Smithsonian Institute's national Free Museum Day this September 29th.

Granite countertops have become the norm for most Brentwood kitchens. What's the best way to clean all those feet of shiny granite? I investigate the best granite cleaning products for your Brentwood kitchen, from Target's all-natural Method brand to a homemade recipe I found on the internet.

Yippee! One of my favorite gift delivery services, Edible Arrangements, is opening a shop in Brentwood's Maryland Farms! Read about my experience ordering a fresh fruit bouquet from Edible Arrangements in Miami. Plus, I'll give you the Edible Arrangements coupon code for $5 off your order!
