Fun Shopping Brentwood: The Fresh Market
Hands down, my favorite Brentwood store is the Fresh Market on Franklin Road.
I always spot a new grilling recipe, a gourmet snack in bulk, or the perfect gift for a friend.
The Fresh Market is a fun place to go in Brentwood!
The Fresh Market isn't huge, but it sells a little bit of everything. The Fresh Market carries some hard-to-find groceries, like gluten-free wraps and diet chocolate cherry sodas.
Oh, the coffee! The Fresh Market carries a huge selection, with whole beans in bins and specialty brands in bags. I notice West Coasters picking up Peet's Coffee like mad.
The Fresh Market also offers seasonal coffees in bags. Decaffeinated pumpkin spice sold out this fall, so I nabbed a bag of Spring Blend as soon as I noticed its display. Everyone at our Easter brunch raved about its toasty, caramel flavor.

The Fresh Market has a sweets display to rival that of any candy store--everything from artisanal Moon Struck chocolates to classic Godiva assortments to sour candy bugs. You can even buy small bars of Scharffenberger for baking.
Moms, take note: The Fresh Market offers free peanut butter and sugar cookies at its bakery. Other bakery favorites include chocolate covered cannoli, tuxedo strawberries, cheesecakes by the slice, and to-die-for chocolate turtle brownies.
The Fresh Market is
cheapest place to buy roses in Brentwood, at $7.99 a dozen." I often pick up a bouquet of roses or mixed flowers at the Fresh Market. After May graduations, the flower display was empty--but on most occasions, you have plenty of colors and blooms from which to choose.
If I'm planning a special dinner, I check the board at the entrance. You can even have the Fresh Ideas newsletter and sales flyer sent to your email address! I recently bought stuffed steak roulades there, and my husband grilled them for a romantic anniversary at home. No fuss, no muss--perfect!
