WHERE MILEY GREW UP
Billy Ray Cyrus first lived on a farm off Sneed Road.
It’s a beautiful area between Hillsboro Road and Natchez Trace.
But I knew that property couldn’t be where Miley lives now.
So I kept digging. Heritage Middle School pulls its students from Thompson’s Station, an area between Franklin and Spring Hill.
MILEY CYRUS LIVES IN THOMPSON’S STATION!
If you drive down Columbia Pike from downtown Franklin, you’ll pass the horse farms and pastures of Thompsons Station. The Battle of Franklin happened there, hence the reference to Heritage Middle School.
Columbia Pike is full of historic homes and huge new houses designed with historic accents.
A 1994 press release referenced an issue of In Touch magazine which showed photos of Billy Ray Cyrus’ dream home in Franklin. He says his wife Tish did all the decorating for their Greek Revival-style brick home.
Billy Ray Cyrus’ farm is located on a dead-end road off Thompson’s Station Road W. — just east of Columbia Pike.

WHERE TO SPOT MILEY CYRUS IN TENNESSEE
In an interview with the Tennessean, Miley Cyrus is quoted as saying that she can’t wait to sleep in her old bed during the filming of Hannah Montana.
Her favorite place to eat in Tennessee? Believe it or not, Cracker Barrel!
According to another Tennessean article, Miley Cyrus looks forward to riding her horses.
Miley Cyrus’ favorite place to hang out with friends? The Cool Springs Galleria mall.
Many fans had the opportunity to spot Miley Cyrus on the set of Hannah Montana. Parts of the movie were shot in nearby Columbia (to the south of Thompson’s Station) and in Nashville.
I’m a wife, mom, and resident of Brentwood, Tennessee. I love finding fun new things to see and do in the Brentwood area! Most recently, I’ve enjoyed blogging about my pregnancy with baby #3.
