If your New Year’s resolution was to get in better shape, Brentwood is a great place to live.

We’re very fortunate to have such a fantastic park system to help us get some fresh air while exercising.

Following are some of the best Brentwood parks for walking, jogging, bicycling, and doing other forms of outdoor exercise…

River Park, Crockett Park, and Tower Park are joined together by the greenway, as well as many nearby neighborhoods. This greenway system is wonderful for walking, jogging, biking, and inline skating.

Maryland Way Park has a walking path and 11 exercise stations. And don’t forget about the sidewalk that can take you on a 6-mile lap around Brentwood.

Deerwood Arboretum has a walking path that connects the Arboretum with Belle Rive and Laurelwood subdivisions.

Granny White Park has a walking path that is 0.8 mile each lap.

Prefer To Exercise Indoors?

For some indoor options for walking/jogging, not too far away is the Williamson County Rec Center on Hillsboro Road that has an indoor walking track. Admission is $3 without a membership.

And the Cool Springs Galleria Mall opens their outside doors at 7:00 a.m. for walkers.
