Melinda Doolittle On Tour At Christmas

Christmas in Belmont is an annual tradition with over 400 voices raised in song.

I knew Melinda Doolittle was a graduate of Belmont University's School of Music.

Belmont University just announced that its star alumna will host the 2007 Christmas at Belmont!

We watch that every year! It's become one of our Christmas Eve traditions.

This year, Melinda Doolittle's Christmas At Belmont airs nationally on PBS Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) at 10 pm.

Lucky Middle Tennessee residents can catch Christmas at Belmont a little earlier. It will air on our local NPT station Thursday, Dec. 20, at 8 p.m.

Melinda Doolittle will be in Nashville on November 19th to tape the show at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center downtown.

That's not Melinda Doolittle's only Christmas special, though!

Starting November 29th, Melinda Doolittle will be a featured performer on Michael W. Smith's Christmas tour with the Katinas.

Kinda ironic, since one of the background singers on Smith's earlier tours was none other than Idol winner Jordin Sparks!

And is Melinda Doolittle still single?

Yep. According to her Christmas at Belmont interview with the Tennessean, she hasn't had time to date since going on tour this fall, but she's still happy being single.
