Franklin's New Indoor Jump Zone
Franklin's new Jump Zone bounces to the top of our "Fun Things To Do With Kids On A Rainy Day" list!
When we took the kids to Jump Zone's grand opening celebration, our jaws dropped.
Can you imagine sliding down this two-story monster truck?
Jump Zone is an indoor bouncy play center for kids age 2 to 12.
It has four rooms for birthday parties, scheduled free play, and Friday family nights.
Jump Zone is similar to Cool Spring's Pump It Up, but without the Galleria traffic. It is located just south of Franklin's downtown, next to the YMCA sports field. Its low profile building can be hard to spot among the warehouses and factories on Columbia Avenue.
Some of the seven inflatables are strictly for jumping--like this fun merry-go-round bouncer. There is also a small corner with toddler toys for children under 2.
Our unanimous favorite was the humongous roller coaster inflatable. Kids climb up a steep face, zip down a slide, pummel their way through air-filled punching bags, scale another mountain--all for one thrilling ride back down. Three times through this obstacle course, and my young son was worn out. (Moms can tell you--that's a GOOD thing!)
Jump Zone would be a fun rainy day or winter activity. I'd prefer to schedule a party there rather than rent a bouncer that would flatten our lawn. After a while, though, all those air blowers gave me a headache.
