Looking for fun things to do for the holidays in Brentwood?
After describing our informal Brentwood Christmas Tree tour, we were ready to see Inside-Out Home Furnishings' 2007 holiday display.
Don't miss Inside-Out's 14 beautiful Christmas trees, a few of which are pictured below.
Inside-Out sells designer patio furniture, wicker, and rattan.
As the weather cools, Inside-Out turns on the Christmas lights! Its Christmas display has become a regular holiday tradition for Brentwood families.
Inside-Out is located at Church St. and Wilson Pike, between Franklin Rd. and Interstate 65.
Inside-Out sets up a "tree lot" of realistic Christmas trees, in addition to its decorated theme trees and ornaments.
Inside-Out Home Furnishings is open:
Monday through Friday, 10-5:30
Saturdays, 10-4:30
Closed Sundays
One of our favorite Christmas trees used reds and oranges as the dominant colors.
We loved the contrast against Inside-Out's antique black shelving filled with ornaments and holiday decorations.
Inside-Out also carries a good selection of contemporary lamps and shades (one of which is pictured behind the tree).
While Inside-Out sells mostly ornaments and artificial trees, you can also find a few choice holiday decorations.
We spotted these gorgeous Nativity figures, large enough for tabletop display without a creche.
If you like flocked Christmas trees, you'll enjoy Inside-Out's display:
- a small white tabletop tree
- an over-the-top white tree with snow, pointsettias, and white ribbons
- and a more realistic, snow-dusted "winter wonderland" tree
Our favorite tree of all was the Sugarplum Fairy tree (as we dubbed the candy coated creation)! Its pink, purple, and turquoise tones were so appealing to the kids!
We had trouble keeping their little hands off the artificial candy canes, gumdrop ornaments, and cupcakes with sprinkles. The giant lollipops make an eye-catching tree topper.

I love the candy theme tree! I would love to know where the decorations were from or how I can get them or similiar ones for my classroom tree! It would be "sweet" to know!
