I am at a loss for an idea foe what to do today with my dad. He is not one who likes to play golf or fish and I would like to take him out but I dont know where. My buget is tight. Please help me!!!
How about asking him to take a walk with you at a beautiful local park? Pick up a couple of gourmet-style sandwiches from your grocery store deli and pack them in a cooler bag with a couple of his favorite sodas. Enjoy a picnic together after you walk!
I am a parent of young children now, but I can only imagine how touched I will be, 20 years from now, to have any of them choose to spend time with me.
The money and the event is not important. He will love whatever you do, so long as you do it together!
Also, don't forget about free local concerts on Father's Day. Brentwood, TN has a fabulous outdoor concert series at Crockett Park with top notch entertainment tonight at 7 pm.
you can take your father out to eat
you might but what if your young to young to take your father out to eat.
Why not bake him a batch of his favorite cookie instead?
Or provide a service for him, like ironing shirts, cleaning the car or giving him a weekend off from cutting the grass?
