Since the recent hurricane disasters, I think everyone is more aware of the help that the Red Cross offers to those people in emergency situations.
They provide food, shelter, clothing, and other services to those who need it.
Most of us are blessed and won’t need the services of the Red Cross, but they there is actually something else they can do for us…
The Red Cross Nashville Chapter offers training courses for CPR, First Aid, and even Babysitting. I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t benefit.
If I was looking for a babysitter, finding someone who has been certified by the Red Cross would be a huge advantage.
And if I’m ever walking past you on the street and need CPR, I hope you would have had the training. I’ll do the same for you.
