Brentwood TN Library Classes and Events

Brentwood-library-reading-room.jpgThe Brentwood Library is a big, beautiful resource on Concord Road.

Tonight I found another fun thing to do at the Brentwood Library: community education classes!

Fifteen other women and I had a fabulous time learning how to create flower arrangements from found materials.

Tonight, a talented local resident discussed how to gather wild materials, find suitable containers, and combine them with tools and wholesale blooms.

She had an engaging Powerpoint with photos of wedding and party arrangements.

What’s so cool about community education: it’s taught by real people in our own community, lending our expertise, neighbor to neighbor.

Another fun, free thing I found at the Brentwood Library is the Art Rental program. Just to the right of the lobby is a small gallery display. Brentwood residents can “check out” artwork just like library books!
