Baskin Robbins 31 Flavors, 31 Cents!

baskin-robbins-rocky-road.jpgIn honor of the National Fallen Firefighters Association, Baskin Robbins Ice Cream plans a fun family outing for this Wednesday, May 2nd.

From 5 to 10 pm, Baskin Robbins will offer all 31 flavors for only 31 cents a scoop!

Families rarely go out for a scoop of Rocky Road these days–they’re driving through Starbucks for a Frappucino instead. Even the occasional ice cream outing has been up-sold to boutique creameries like Marble Slab and Maggie Moos.

I’ll be taking my kids for their first taste of Baskin-Robbins ice cream. I have such fond memories of the hot pink spoons and waffle cones. Whenever my grandmother and I made a shopping trip to Nashville or Franklin, we always stopped for a milkshake on the drive home.

Did you know that Baskin-Robbins has produced over 1000 different varieties? (I’ve always been a mint chip girl, myself!)

The only Baskin Robbins I remember is in Franklin — the cutest little shop just off the town square. We also frequented the Belle Meade Baskin Robbins after browsing at McClure’s. That space was later demolished for the Belle Meade Post Office expansion.

I used the Baskin Robbins Store Locator to find other shops convenient to Brentwood:

  • 127 Franklin Rd (in the Brentwood Kroger shopping center)
  • 9100A Carothers Pkwy in Franklin
  • 3919 Nolensville Rd. (in the Elysian Fields Kroger center)
  • 214 E Main St in Franklin
  • 850 Hillwood Blvd. in West Nashville (just off Charlotte)
