5 Uniquely Delicious Restaurants In Brentwood, TN

best-fancy-restaurant-brunch-in-brentwood-most-romantic-restaurant-in-brentwood.jpg If you're visiting Brentwood--or showing out-of-town guests around--

the LAST place you want to eat is another chain restaurant in Cool Springs.

Here are 5 uniquely delicious and local restaurants to try in Brentwood, Tennessee.

I'll never understand why my in-laws take us to eat at Red Lobster...

...in Florida!

When in Brentwood, eat like the locals do.

It doesn't all mean country cookin'.

Best Brentwood Restaurant To Impress Someone Special:

Hands down, Mere Bulles in Maryland Farms.  This elegant restaurant is found in one of Brentwood's historic homes, Maryland Manor.

This is where we'd take our cosmopolitan Miami relatives for a fancy Sunday brunch or make a reservation for a romantic anniversary dinner.  White tablecloths and tall antebellum windows give every room the best seats in the house.

Best Brentwood Restaurant To Take Your Mother-In-Law:

Is there anyone in Brentwood who hasn't had lunch at the Puffy Muffin?  I didn't think so.

Perfectly located for a quick browse through local boutiques, the Puffy Muffin serves classic tea room fare, from broccoli casserole to chicken salad.  Have them pack up a dozen blueberry muffins for the next morning.

Best Brentwood Restaurant To Taste Tennessee:

This was a toss-up between Memphis-based Corky's and the meat-and-3 Vittles.  Corky's wins because of its down-home decor and tantalizing hickory smoke smell.

Best Brentwood Restaurant To Grab A Drink With Friends:

Cross Corner in the Brentwood Kroger Shopping Center has all my friends' votes.

Abby calls it her favorite sports bar in Brentwood (and with 27 TVs, no wonder!).  I also hear that the burgers are delicious.

Best Brentwood Restaurant To Transport You To Another Country:

Brentwood is home to a large Persian community, and Genie's Persian Palace on Moore's Lane is ready to introduce you to Middle Eastern food.

I love that you can sample a little bit of everything from its bountiful buffet of salads and hot foods.  We liked almost everything except the rosewater-flavored pudding for dessert.

Agreed 100%! I recently discovered Genie's Persian Palace and fell in love. There is a group of us that go there every Friday now. The gentleman I assume is the owner takes youon a tour of the buffet to explain what every item is and how to eat it. The feta cheese is so fresh and the hummus the best I've had.

The Puffy Muffin is a must stop and Merre Bulles has the best chocolate creme brulee ever!

The only one I slightly disagree with is Corky's but that's just because I'm loyal to my Texas barbeque!
