#1 Find fun Halloween decorations.

It might be fun to decorate your house for Halloween with these creepy critters.

Big Lots has them in stock, and it's only August!

Big Lots stores are located in Franklin at Hwy. 96 and in south Nashville on Nolensville Road.

#2 Visit a REAL graveyard in Williamson County.

Carnton Plantation is a historic Franklin estate with the largest Civil War cemetery around.

It hosts an eerie Haunted Halloween each year.

Expect ghost stories in the plantation home and graveside, along with a 19th century magic show.

#3 Take the family to Gentry's Farm in Franklin.

At Gentry's, kids can:

• pick their own pumpkins
• go on a real hay ride
• have their photos taken in a field of sunflowers
• enjoy lots of other fun fall activities

 

#4 Attend a Halloween party or two.
