Brentwood-library-reading-room.jpgThe Brentwood Library is a big, beautiful resource on Concord Road. Tonight I found another fun thing to do at the Brentwood Library: community education classes!

Fifteen other women and I had a fabulous time learning how to create flower arrangements from found materials.

clean-hotel-bedspreads.jpgI've been investigating Brentwood's hotels for our summer guests. After our stay at a Holiday Inn Express, the Brentwood Holiday Inn became my number one pick.

Gas Lamp Antique Mall Near Brentwood

gas-lamp-antique-mall-nashville.jpgThere's nothing I enjoy more than browsing a good antique shop. Brentwood sits in between two large antique districts on either end of Franklin Road: the shops in historic Franklin to the south, and the shops in and around 8th Avenue in Nashville.

One of my favorite "in between" antiquing jaunts is the Gas Lamp Antique Mall near 100 Oaks Mall in Nashville.

Breakfast At Vittles, A Meat and Three

Our friends recommended Vittles Restaurant as the best meat-and-three in Brentwood, if not Nashville. We enjoyed a late Saturday brunch there this weekend.

As you can see, we didn't leave hungry.
