First, Brentwood's official city egg hunt! The stately Brentwood Library is the backdrop for a picture-perfect event.

This year, children will gather on the lawn March 20.

(The Brentwood calendar suggests arriving no later than 3:45 pm!)

The Easter Bunny will be there for photographs. If the library parking is full, you can also park in the Civitan ballfield lot at Lipscomb Elementary.

2007 March of Dimes Egg Hunt:
According to the Brentwood Journal, The March of Dimes egg hunt will be held in Brentwood April 1, at Granny White Park.

We're still looking for the 2008 date! Along with the egg hunt, treats will be provided for a sweet snack!

Williamson County Parks and Recreation is also hosting Easter Egg Hunts for children ages 10 and under. Each is schedule for Saturday, March 8:

--->Franklin kids can hunt at 10 am at the Franklin Recreational Center on Hillsboro Road.
--->Leiper's Fork kids can hunt at 1 pm at the Leiper's Fork Recreational Center ball fields.
--->Fairview kids can hunt at 10 am at the Fairview Recreation Complex football field.
--->College Grove kids can hunt eggs at College Grove Elementary School on Arno Road.

Close to Brentwood, the Nashville Zoo hosts a gorgeous Easter egg hunt--well, several rounds of Easter egg hunts divided by age groups--at its Extravaganzoo celebration.

This huge Zoo Eggstravaganza is scheduled for March 22, 2008. Please check the Nashville Zoo website for specific egg hunt times.

Looking for something a bit more interactive? The Warner Park Nature Center will be holding a unique bird, reptile, and amphibian egg hunt March 22 at 10 am. The event is free. Call the Warner Park Nature Center for reservations, 352-6299.

The Nashville Sounds usually host an Easter egg hunt and baseball game on the same day! However, Easter falls too early for the 2008 Sounds baseball schedule this year.
