I like to read, so I am well aware that books can be expensive. Especially children's books, since kids are constantly ready for new, more challenging books. One solution to help with this is to buy used books.
The Friends of the Library is holding a Used Book Sale at the Brentwood, TN Library later this week. The sales actually happen quarterly, so you'll be able to catch two others later in the year if you happen to miss this one.
The proceeds from the Used Book Sale go directly back into the Brentwood Library, so it's a great cause. Not only can you get great books at the sale, but they take donations of used books right there at the checkout counter during regular library hours.
The schedule for the upcoming sale is:
Wednesday, April 19: 1 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Thursday, April 20: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday, April 21: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday, April 22: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
