Nashville Predators Hockey

How did I ever end up here? Cell Block 303. What will my parents think? Not to mention the rest of my family...

...Well actually I am a part of Cell Block 303, one of the most insane group of Nashville Predators fans you will ever see or hear. We bought an ice pack (11 games), specifically the Rivals Pack and this has been a lot of fun. If you can watch a game with these guys, I highly recommend it.

The Nashville Predators became one of three teams in NHL History last night to start the season 8-0, just 2 away from the all time record.

The Predators have really benefited from the rules changes in the NHL.

They have tremendous speed and great puck handlers. Steve Sullivan, Scott Nichol, Scott Hartnell, David Legwand and the newest Predator, Paul Kariya have set Nashville on fire with their UNBELIEVABLE start.

The Predators first season was 1998 and last night was their 500th home game. Like any expansion team they have had their growing pains. Low attendance and bad teams have been a norm with this group. They made the playoffs in the 2003-2004 season and they seem to have picked up where they left off.

I suggest checking out a game in person and rememeber - It's Go Time!!

Hey ZooKeeper - you'll get our boys up there later this month. I'm looking forward to the Predators starting up another winning streak, which will come just in time for the trip to Detroit! I know you're 7 points ahead of us right now, but we'll see you in the playoffs.

It is Awesome that the Predators are doing so well. It's hard not to like them. But send 'em to (not-so-adversely-affected-by-the-salary-cap-as-doubters-thought) Detroit, though. We need a real test!

Thanks Bobby! We're sure enjoying the season so far. The winning streak was broken last night, but it had to happen eventually...I just don't like it.

It's go time?!?!?! My gloves are off! Who's my dancing partner!?!?

Actually, a big hand to the Preds and the season that they are having. It's nice to see the talent level that they have excelling with the new rules and making hockey interesting and winning in the shootouts just adds to the excitement.
