Congratulations to the Chicago White Sox!!!

Personally, I am a Cubs fan - but anytime a Chicago team is winning, it's a good day.

How did I ever end up here? Cell Block 303. What will my parents think? Not to mention the rest of my family...

...Well actually I am a part of Cell Block 303, one of the most insane group of Nashville Predators fans you will ever see or hear. We bought an ice pack (11 games), specifically the Rivals Pack and this has been a lot of fun. If you can watch a game with these guys, I highly recommend it.

The Nashville Predators became one of three teams in NHL History last night to start the season 8-0, just 2 away from the all time record.

The Town Center Way roundabout in Brentwood is ready for traffic. It is located at the former Wilson Pike Circle/Frierson Place intersection and it's looking pretty good.

Finally - we no longer have to drive into the Cool Springs Mall area for a steakhouse. Unless you live there - in that case this won't seem very exciting for you.

The new LongHorn Steakhouse is open in the Shoppes of Brentwood Hills shopping center.

We have a new fall tradition in our family. It's an annual trip to Gentry's Farm in Franklin, TN. We visited for the first time this year, and it was a ton of fun.

Merriam-Webster defines the word etiquette as 'the conduct or procedure required by good breeding or prescribed by authority to be observed in social or official life'

I'm not sure if I need to be that formal for our purposes here, but I have to say that the Cincinnati Bengal fans that I saw at the Tennessee Titan's game on Sunday are not familiar with the word.

The first time I heard someone use the term "Meat & Three", it was a co-worker who was referring to Toby's Chicken Kitchen at 1346 W. Main Street in Franklin.

I must admit that the food at Toby's was great, but I still can't get past that term....
